サブグループデータの入力からX-bar・R管理図の作成、結果の保存・再読み込みまでの操作方法をまとめています。
This page explains how to build X-bar and R control charts from subgroup data, and how to save or reload your results.

「サブグループデータ」欄に、1行＝1サブグループとしてデータを入力します。値はカンマ・スペースのいずれでも区切れます（例: 10.2, 10.5, 10.1）。サブグループごとにデータ数（n）が違っても構いません（n = 2〜10）。サブグループは最低2つ、安定した管理限界を求めるには20以上を推奨します。サブグループは1,000まで入力できます（1サブグループは2〜10個なので、最大10,000値）。
Enter one subgroup per line in the "Subgroup Data" field. Values can be separated by commas or spaces (e.g. 10.2, 10.5, 10.1). Subgroup size (n) may vary from line to line (n = 2–10). At least 2 subgroups are required; 20 or more are recommended for stable control limits. You can enter up to 1,000 subgroups (each subgroup has 2–10 values, so up to 10,000 values).
Excelから直接コピー&ペースト可能：Excel上で測定値の範囲（複数列×複数行）を選択してコピーし、この欄にそのまま貼り付けても正しく認識されます（1行＝1サブグループとして自動的に区切られます）。
Paste directly from Excel: You can copy a range of cells (multiple columns × multiple rows) from Excel and paste it directly into this field — it will be recognized correctly, with each row automatically treated as one subgroup.
日付やシフト名などをサブグループごとに表示したい場合は、「サブグループ名（ラベル）を使う」にチェックを入れると、専用の入力欄が表示されます。「サブグループ名」欄と「サブグループデータ」欄は行番号で対応します（1行目のラベル＝1行目のデータ）。ラベルを付けない行は空行のままにしてください。グラフのX軸・結果テーブル・Excel/CSV出力にラベルが反映されます。
To label each subgroup with a date, shift name, etc., check "Use subgroup labels" to reveal a dedicated input field. The "Subgroup Labels" field and the "Subgroup Data" field are matched by line number (line 1 label ↔ line 1 data). Leave a line blank for subgroups without a label. Labels appear on the chart's X-axis, the results table, and Excel/CSV exports.
Excelで日付列を丸ごとコピーして「サブグループ名」欄に、測定値の列を「サブグループデータ」欄に、それぞれ別に貼り付けると簡単です。
Tip: copy the date column from Excel into the "Subgroup Labels" field, and the measurement columns into the "Subgroup Data" field, as two separate pastes.
グラフタイトルは任意です。空欄の場合は既定名 "X-bar R Control Chart" が使われます。グラフタイトルは40文字までです。
Chart Title is optional — it defaults to "X-bar R Control Chart" if left blank. The chart title is up to 40 characters.
X-bar管理図（サブグループ平均の推移）とR管理図（サブグループ内のばらつき＝範囲の推移）が1枚のグラフとして表示されます。あわせて、総合平均（X-double-bar）・平均範囲（R-bar）・サブグループごとの詳細（X-bar・R・管理限界）が一覧表示されます。管理限界を外れたサブグループは赤色でハイライトされます。画面では、サブグループごとの詳細の表（「サブグループ詳細」）は保存欄の下にあり、31件以上のときは閉じた状態で表示されます（見出しをクリックすると開きます）。
An X-bar chart (subgroup averages) and R chart (subgroup ranges) are displayed together. The overall average (X-double-bar), average range (R-bar), and a per-subgroup breakdown (X-bar, R, control limits) are also shown. Subgroups outside the control limits are highlighted in red. On the page, the per-subgroup table ("Subgroup Details") is below the save section; with 31 or more subgroups it starts collapsed (click its heading to open it).
このツールは自動更新されません。以下のいずれかを変更した場合、下の「計算する」を押すまで画面の結果・グラフは更新されません。
This tool does not update automatically. If you change any of the following, the results and chart on screen will not update until you press "Calculate" again.
つまり、測定データを直しただけの場合も、グラフの設定だけ変えた場合も、必ず「計算する」を押し直す必要があります。
In other words, whether you only edited the measurement data or only changed a chart setting, you must press "Calculate" again either way.
サブグループごとにデータ数（n）が異なる場合、各サブグループはそれぞれのnに応じた管理限界係数（A2・D3・D4）で個別に管理限界が計算されます（可変管理限界方式）。そのため、グラフ上の管理限界線がサブグループごとに上下することがありますが、これは正常な挙動です。
When subgroup size varies, each subgroup's control limits are calculated individually using the constants (A2, D3, D4) for its own n. This means the control limit lines may shift from point to point on the chart — this is expected behavior for variable subgroup sizes.
X-bar管理図・R管理図に出てくる UCL・LCL は「管理限界」です。似た言葉に「規格限界（公差）」がありますが、まったく別のものです。
The UCL and LCL lines on the X-bar chart and R chart are "control limits". There is a similar-sounding term, "specification limits" (tolerance), but they are a completely different thing.
この2つは独立していて、混同しないでください。たとえば、工程が安定していても（管理限界の内側に収まっていても）規格から外れている場合があります。逆に、すべて規格の内側でも、工程が不安定（管理外れが出ている）な場合もあります。
The two are independent, so please do not mix them up. For example, a process can be stable (inside the control limits) and still be outside the specification. Conversely, every value can be inside the specification while the process is unstable (points are out of control).
X-bar管理図の点は「サブグループの平均」です。規格限界は個々の製品の測定値に対する基準なので、X-bar管理図の点や管理限界を、そのまま規格と比べることはできません。
The points on the X-bar chart are subgroup averages. Specification limits apply to individual product measurements, so the points and control limits on the X-bar chart cannot be compared directly with the specification.
このツールに規格限界を入力する欄がないのは、管理図が「安定性を見るためのもの」だからです。規格との比較（Pp・Ppk などの工程能力の評価）は、統計解析ツール ポータルの「Cpk計算ツール」で行ってください。
This tool has no field for specification limits because a control chart is for checking stability. To compare against a specification (process capability such as Pp and Ppk), use the "Process Capability (Cpk) Calculator" on the Statistical Analysis Tools Portal.
通常は入力したデータから中心線（X-double-bar・R-bar）を自動計算しますが、すでに過去の安定した期間から管理限界を確立している場合は、「固定 X-double-bar」「固定 R-bar」の両方に値を入力してください。その値を中心線として使い、各サブグループの管理限界はその固定R-barと各サブグループ自身のnから計算されます（nが可変でも正しく機能します）。片方だけの入力はエラーになります。空欄のままなら、今まで通り入力データから自動計算されます。
By default, the center lines (X-double-bar, R-bar) are calculated automatically from the entered data. If you have already established control limits from a previous stable period, enter values in both "Fixed X-double-bar" and "Fixed R-bar" — these will be used as the center lines, and each subgroup's control limits will be calculated from the fixed R-bar and that subgroup's own n (this works correctly even when n varies). Entering only one of the two fields will result in an error. Leave both blank to keep the default automatic calculation.
グラフの縦横比：標準・横長（ラベルが多い場合など）から選べます（既定は「標準」）。ラベルがX軸で見切れたり重なったりする場合は「横長」を選ぶと改善します。画像は常に高画質で生成されます。
Chart aspect ratio: Choose Standard or Wide (useful when labels overlap or get cut off) (default: Standard). Images are always generated at high quality.
ラベルの間引き数：X軸に何件おきに表示するかを「自動」「2〜5件ごと」「全部表示（最大）」から選べます（既定は「自動」）。指定した間引き数ではラベルが収まらない場合は自動的に調整され、グラフ内と画面上の両方にその旨の注記が表示されます。ラベルを入力していない場合も、連番（1, 2, 3...）にこの設定が適用されます。「全部表示（最大）」を選ぶと、件数が多い場合にラベル同士が重なって見づらくなることがあります（画面上に注意書きが表示されますが、グラフ画像・Excel/CSV出力には含まれません）。
Label interval: Choose how many labels to show on the X-axis: Auto, every 2–5, or Show all (max) (default: Auto). If the requested interval doesn't fit, it is automatically adjusted, with a note shown both on the chart and on the page. Even without custom labels, this setting also applies to the sequence numbers (1, 2, 3...). With "Show all (max)", labels may overlap and become hard to read when there are many subgroups (a notice appears on the page, but it is not included in the chart image or Excel/CSV export).
X-bar／Rチャートのラベル表示：上下それぞれのグラフでラベルを表示するかどうかを個別に切り替えられます（既定は両方オン）。
X-bar / R chart label display: You can independently toggle whether labels are shown on the top and bottom charts (both are on by default).
本ツールから出力したExcel(.xlsx)またはCSV(.csv)ファイルをページ上部の「Excel / CSVから読み込む」から選択すると、サブグループデータ・サブグループ名（ラベル）・タイトル・（使用していれば）固定管理限界の値がそのまま復元されます（アップロードは最大10MBまで）。グラフの縦横比・ラベルの間引き数・X-bar／Rチャートのラベル表示はファイルに保存されないため、読み込み後は既定値（標準・自動・両方オン）に戻ります。サブグループが1,000を超えるファイルは読み込めません。
Select an .xlsx or .csv file previously exported from this tool under "Import from Excel or CSV" at the top of the page to restore its subgroup data, subgroup labels, title, and (if used) fixed control limit values (max upload size: 10MB). The chart aspect ratio, label interval, and X-bar / R chart label display are not saved in the file, so they return to their defaults (Standard, Auto, both on) after importing. Files with more than 1,000 subgroups cannot be imported.
アップロードされたデータおよび出力ファイルはメモリ上でのみ処理され、サーバーのディスクに保存されることはありません。
Uploaded data and generated files are processed in memory only and are never persisted to disk on the server.
通信はCloudflareを経由します（詳しくはプライバシーポリシーをご覧ください）。機密情報を含むデータは入力せず、品名・顧客名などは除くか記号に置き換えてご利用ください。
Traffic passes through Cloudflare (see the Privacy Policy for details). Please do not enter confidential information; remove product or customer names or replace them with generic labels.
